What is the net zero transition?
Australia is undergoing an economic transformation as we reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. This simply means we stop adding to the problem of global warming.
Some heavy industries will adapt, and new industries will emerge, leveraging clean energy generation and Australia’s abundant mineral resources. This transition represents a nation-wide opportunity for investment and job creation, particularly in regional areas.
